16x LS10-P Vessel Sealing Generators Shipped to Spain — A Milestone in European Expansion

Introduction

There are orders that fill a shipping container — and then there are orders that mark a turning point.

In late January, our team at Imagex Vessel Sealing Division, together with BASHIER MEDICAL SYSTEMS (82TECH GROUP), completed the shipment of 16 units of the LS10-P vessel sealing generator to our long-standing distributor partner in Spain. It is, to date, one of our largest single-batch shipments into the European market — and a powerful testament to the growing demand for reliable, cost-effective LigaSure-compatible vessel sealing solutions across the continent.

Here is the full story behind the shipment.

Transit Route

From the Factory Floor in Jiangsu

Every LS10-P unit that leaves our facility undergoes a rigorous multi-point quality assurance process before it is cleared for export.

At our BASHIER MEDICAL production facilities in Changzhou and Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, each of the 16 generators was individually tested for:

  • Output calibration — verifying vessel seal mode power delivery

  • Feedback control responsiveness — ensuring real-time tissue impedance sensing

  • Safety interlocks — confirming all protective circuits function correctly

  • Accessory compatibility — testing with both reusable and disposable sealing instruments

  • Visual and cosmetic inspection — checking for any defects in housing, display, and connectors

Only after all 16 units passed inspection were they cleared for packaging and shipment.

Inside the Packing Process

Shipping high-value medical energy equipment across continents requires more than just a sturdy box. Our packing team followed a strict protocol:

  1. Anti-static wrapping for each generator to protect sensitive electronic components

  2. Custom-cut foam padding to absorb shock during maritime transit

  3. Reinforced wooden crate with steel banding for structural integrity

  4. Silica gel desiccant packs to control humidity inside the crate

  5. Waterproof outer layer to guard against seawater exposure

  6. "Fragile" and "Keep Upright" labels prominently displayed on all sides

The completed crate — containing all 16 LS10-P units plus a full set of accessories including foot switches, connection cables, and spare parts — was sealed and prepared for handover to our trusted freight forwarding partner.

Setting Sail: From Jiangsu to Spain

The shipment departed from our Jiangsu facility and was transported to the port for loading onto a container vessel bound for Spain. The estimated maritime transit time: 28 to 35 days.

Throughout the journey, our logistics team maintained close contact with both the freight forwarder and our Spanish distributor partner, providing regular updates on:

  • Vessel departure confirmation

  • ETA at transshipment ports (if applicable)

  • Final arrival notification at the Spanish port

  • Customs clearance support documentation

Why Spain — and Why Now

Spain represents a strategically important market for minimally invasive surgical equipment in Southern Europe. Several factors made this order particularly significant.

Growing Demand for MIS

Spanish hospitals and private clinics are increasingly adopting minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical techniques, driving demand for reliable vessel sealing systems.

Cost-Effective Alternatives

As healthcare budgets face pressure, procurement teams across Spain are actively seeking high-quality, cost-effective alternatives to legacy OEM systems — without compromising on patient safety or surgical outcomes.

Distributor Confidence

Our Spanish partner has worked with BASHIER MEDICAL / Imagex Vessel Sealing Division for several years, starting with smaller trial orders and gradually scaling up as surgeon feedback validated the performance of our LigaSure-compatible systems. This 16-unit order is the culmination of that trust.

The LS10-P: A Closer Look

  • Compact, mobile design suitable for both OR and mobile surgical units

  • CE-compliant and manufactured under ISO 13485 quality management system

Distributor Feedback

Upon confirmation of the order, our Spanish partner shared their perspective:
