The BASHIER Ultrasonic Surgical System is a professional soft-tissue ultrasonic energy platform designed for modern minimally invasive and open surgery. The system converts high-frequency electrical energy into precise mechanical vibration, allowing surgeons to cut, dissect, grasp and coagulate soft tissue simultaneously through a single instrument.

With intelligent tissue feedback, stable output control and a full portfolio of gun-type and scissor-type handpieces plus curved disposable shears, the BASHIER system improves surgical efficiency, reduces instrument changes and minimizes lateral thermal injury to surrounding tissue. It is a reliable, cost-effective alternative for hospitals, surgical centers and distributors seeking a complete ultrasonic scalpel solution.

How It Works

The BASHIER generator produces a high-frequency signal that drives the piezoelectric transducer in the handpiece. The transducer converts electrical energy into high-frequency longitudinal mechanical vibration, which is transmitted through the aluminum shaft to the blade tip.

When the blade contacts tissue, high-frequency friction generates localized heat (typically 50–100 °C), denaturing proteins to seal vessels while the mechanical vibration cuts and dissects tissue. The cavitation effect further assists tissue separation. Because the process is mechanically driven rather than electrically conducted through the patient, there is no current passing through the body.

Gun-Type Handpiece

  • Blade / Tip — cutting and coagulation surface

  • Sleeve / Shaft — aluminum shaft transmitting ultrasonic vibration

  • Rotating Wheel — 360° shaft rotation for tip positioning

  • Trigger / Activation Key — power activation

  • Hand Grip — ergonomic pistol-style hold

  • Handpiece Connector — connects to the generator

Scissor-Type Handpiece

  • Fine Jaw / Tip — precision grasping and dissection

  • Aluminum Shaft — vibration transmission

  • Rotating Wheel — shaft orientation control

  • Finger Rings — stable two-finger scissor-style operation

  • Trigger Key — energy activation

  • Handpiece Connector — connects to the generator
